
The Boston Interactive Media Association (BIMA), a MITX organization, is New England’s only online advertising focused industry group, comprised of over 2,000 online advertising and marketing professionals with business interests in the New England market.
New England represents a strong advertising market and is home to some of the most recognizable agencies and marketers in the world, such as Carat Fusion, Digitas, Dunkin Donuts, Fidelity, Gillette, J Jill, L.L. Bean, Media Contacts, Monster.com, Mullen, Reebok, Staples and TJX. BIMA’s mission is to bring together top agencies and marketers, technology vendors, and sales organizations in both educational and networking settings, to make contacts and to develop and promote the New England interactive market as a whole.
BIMA has three primary objectives:
BIMA hosts nearly 15 events annually – six educational events through its Eyeballs and Shoot Out series, two networking events, customized roundtables, and its three annual special events – Cross Media Forum, Google Harbor Cruise and MSN Charity Gala.
Membership is free, qualified and individual based. All potential members are asked to complete an online application, which is reviewed by the BIMA Executive Committee. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate a professional responsibility for administering interactive advertising and marketing budgets. The applicant should be involved in the planning, buying, or selling of interactive media.
Memberships in BIMA are separate from membership in MITX, our parent organization, which services the broader technology, marketing and digital media industries.
